I LIVE IN an APARTMENT, HOW CAN I MAKE the RECHARGE OF THE BATTERIES ?

THE BATTERY IS CHARGING You IT WHEN I PEDAL ?
Some models have a dynamo which recharges the battery when pedaling or downhill. However, the energy gain is minimal and you will not be able to perform a charging total battery - except on a downhill run of 30 km ;-)
ELECTRIC BIKES - WHAT STANDARDS ?
The european directive 2002/24/EC sets out the criteria for what an electric bike can travel on the public highway :
the assistance should be done only if the cyclist pedals, and the cutting off of the pedal. However, it is allowed to put in place a start-up assistance without the need for pedalling, but must not exceed 6 km/h.
The ASSISTANCE MUST BE CUT to 25 km/h ?
The engine power must not exceed 250 Watts
Important : If your electric bike is not responding to any of these features, it classifies it in the category of mopeds and requires a homologation special.
BE HIS ELECTRIC BIKE ?
Yes, it must be insured, but the liability of the home insurance is usually enough.
DO YOU NEED A PEMHIN, A HELMET ?
As for regular bicycles, no licence or helmet. However, we recommend the use of the helmet.
